SARAH MALTBY

Dr Sarah Maltby is a General Practitioner who completed her medical training at Flinders University and General Practice training in rural SA (Mannum). She moved to Australia from Canada for her studies and now enjoys dual citizenship. She was awarded the AMA(SA) medal at her graduation in 2011 and completed her fellowship in 2017.

Dr Maltby brings great experience in Women’s Health and Sexual Health through her previous work at Shine SA, Torrens House, Pregnancy Advisory Centre and Cedar Health Service.

Dr Maltby completed a Diploma in Child Health in 2012 and the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health in 2017. She is currently working towards completing her accreditation in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (the Possums Program).  

Working with individuals of all ages and cultural backgrounds, Dr Maltby prides herself in her individualised patient-centred and trauma informed care. She has many years of experience and enjoys caring for members of the LGBTIQA+ community. She provides consultations for a variety of health needs including contraception, menstrual problems, cervical screening, sexual health, vulval disorders, menopause and breast concerns. She is experienced in Implanon and IUD insertion and removal.
